
2025 Folklore and Public Culture Commencement
Congratulations, Graduating Ducks!
The Folklore and Public Culture department joyously celebrates and extends a heartfelt congratulations to our graduating majors, alongside their professors, colleagues, family and friends. The Folklore and Public Culture Commencement Ceremony will take place on Sunday, June 15 at 4:00 pm at EMU Ballroom. No tickets or RSVP required. Graduates should plan to arrive at the site at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time. For details on how to participate, email the Event Coordinator.
Helpful Tips to Plan Ahead for Ceremony Day
- Walk or carpool to campus
- Bring plenty of water
- Commencement is a rain-or-shine event so prepare accordingly with umbrellas or ponchos. Sunscreen is advised
- On Sunday, June 16, there will be an access shuttle operating on campus for those with conditions that impact mobility. Please visit the UO Commencement website for more information.
