Nomad Mentorship Program

In our capstone course, COLT 415, advanced students are given increased responsibility in the classroom. Students develop and present an independent research project that brings together their two concentrations. All projects are comparative—traversing linguistic areas or disciplines. Because of COLT’s disciplinary breadth, projects can take a wide variety of forms, scholarly and creative. Public presentations of projects culminate the term. Students may submit their projects for possible publication in our online journal, Nomad, which features scholarship, translations, creative writing, and visual culture.
