Funding and Research Support

The Department of Classics funds qualified graduate students through Graduate Employment.

All students accepted into the MA program may apply. Funding is competitive and awarded to students who are prepared to make steady progress through the program and complete their degree in a timely manner.

The department regularly appoints GEs at .40 time.

We also encourage graduate students to present their research at the annual meeting of the Classical Association of the Pacific Northwest and contribute to their expenses for doing so.
